    bowl wrap question
Just a quick question for all you "breeding encyclopedias". My 12 year old son and I are making our first attempt at breeding balls this year, and have noted 3 confirmed locks between his normal male and het albino female (I know, the combo won't result anything fantastic, but he is "growing" his het albino male and wanted to "Practice"). My question concerns the bowl wrap phase. His female, Sunny, has a round plastic bowl as a hide. Over the past couple weeks, she pretty much refuses to come out of the hide, and has wrapped herself in a perfect circle coil along the interior of the hide. We haven't seen any bowl wrap, but since she seems to do everything in her own unique way, I'm just curious if she could be doing the same thing only backwards???

Have you checked to see if she is on eggs?

Yes, we actually took her out of the hide on Thursday to check her out. No eggs, but her colors have changed a bit, and she has just recently begun to refuse meals (She's usually quite the pig, cleaning up any leftovers from other picky eaters). She likes to hang in her hide, but she's usually off to one side in a bit of an unorganized coil.. It's a very noticable change that she now coils completely around the circular interior, a very "organized" coil. She has also gained over 430 gms in the past month, which is quite high for her as well.
