temp variance of < 1 degree without fan...
    Hi there,

I have my incubator fired up in anticipation of my 3 potential clutches.

It is an old school Coleman cooler, plastic/fiberglass inside and metal for a frame.

I have a strip of 4 inch flewatt across the bottom.
A row of water bottles on top that.
Egg crating on top that... and then the hatching containers.

I haven't added my fan yet, nor have I experimented with the humidity yet, but I have a less than 1 degree variance. My temps are constant b/w 88.0-88.8 degrees as a max/min. This is over 8 days.

Is this sufficient, and will it decrease once I add the fan, or fluctuate with humidity?

Having some probs locating a fan. Any pointers?

    thanks in advance,
    Bruce

Bruce, can't comment on much of it - except to ask if you've tried any computer supply store for a fan? I believe the one I have is 12V.
