My husband and I seriously considered it but in the end the game library just didn't offer what we're after and we had no desire to wait months or years for that to change. We're thrilled with our X360.

I might be grabbing one this weekend. With HDDVD going the way of the dodo I was looking at Blue-ray players and for the price the PS3 is a pretty good deal. I'll still be using my 360 for gaming though as Entropy said the PS3 games leave little to be desired. Resistance does look pretty good though.

while I do consider myself somewhat of a fanboy for sony. I would agree that they are a bit lacking in the game department. but there are a million and 1 uses for the thing. I use it to stream movies from my computer, and I watch all of the youtube stuff on it a lot ,browse the internet. and there are a lot of downloadable games for it that are great.

I'm kinda pissed at Xbox. it's so fun..but it's so LOUD...sounds like a rocket taking off.

It also sucks that I can't connect to a wireless internet without the 100 dollar network connector.

I put linux on mine over the weekend... linux is very hard to get used to but I've figured it out for the most part. I got snes9x on there and I've been playing through some old snes games all weekend.
