Rainy Day

Man I wish I could stay home today. Its cold and rainy outside. I'm sitting here in PJ's and eating a steaming bowl of Cream of Wheat with cinnamon and the heater is on so I'm all warm and toasty. *sigh* But I have to be at work in 30 min :( Don't you just hate days like this.

You are sooo right!

Although, there are positive sides to it, I've been on sick leave from work for months and I'm frustrated to hell with nothing much to spend my days with. Animals help but they can't keep me buzy all day.

But anyway, it's been raining here too today and I was lazy and waited until it stopped to take out the trash.

I'd take rain over the nothing but snow we've had for the past week... Went from no snow to 3 feet in under a week... I hate snow... Don't have a car but have been in three car accidents this winter due to weather.... The snow pile in front of my building is over 12' high... I'd love some rain!

Don't want to make you guys feel worse but it's really nice here. I was just outside cookin some bbq chicken. but knowing how colorado is it will probably snow tomorrow.

Yea, it's a rare good day down here too. But then, we have a saying down here that goes, "If you don't like the weather here, wait an hour."

But I totally understand the whole wanting to stay bundled up and just lounge all day. I actually got to do that the other day and it was nice.

We got maybe 6 inches of snow overnight, followed by an all-day rainstorm. My campus is literally underwater and covered in disgusting slush. And it's cold.

I walked 35 minutes through the mess to get to class, only to find out that it was canceled and that I hadn't received the email. :mad:

So I'm having one of those happy fun days too :(

Stop complaining about the snow! I'd trade this FLorida weather any day to be back in Boston!
