changing favorite hide?

I recently did a complete clean out of my bp's cage. After everything was put back in and temps were correct I put him back in. To my surprise he likes to go in the hide that he never went in before, and his previous favorite on top of the uth I haven't seen him go in yet. I was wondering if this is normal thanks

a snake will do what a snake wants. make sure humidity and temps are fine and stop worrying.
