    Rat Age>> Summary Please
    3 questions. (FOR NORMAL RATS!!!!!)

1.) At what weight do you allow your females to have their first pregnancy?

2.) Using the answer from #1, Is it reasonable to expect most "petco facy rats" to in time reach this weight?

3.) Using the answer from #1, how many months are there from the date this weight is reached to the point of "retirement"

Thank you VERY much for this info... Please take your time to answer in detail... MANY will benifit from the answers!!!

    Love you guys and gals!!!!

1.) At what weight do you allow your females to have their first pregnancy? Over 250 grams

2.) Using the answer from #1, Is it reasonable to expect most "petco facy rats" to in time reach this weight? What do you mean 'in time'? Yes, they should reach that weight...

3.) Using the answer from #1, how many months are there from the date this weight is reached to the point of "retirement"? Approx 6 litters. Rotating or not. You will see the effect a litter takes on a mother after a few litters.

    Just to add.

    250gs is about 4-5 months.

My Petco rats will be up to weight in a few weeks, gaining any where from 15-20 grams a week normaly. They are great growers!:D
