1.) At what weight do you allow your females to have their first pregnancy? Over 250 grams
2.) Using the answer from #1, Is it reasonable to expect most "petco facy rats" to in time reach this weight? What do you mean 'in time'? Yes, they should reach that weight...
3.) Using the answer from #1, how many months are there from the date this weight is reached to the point of "retirement"? Approx 6 litters. Rotating or not. You will see the effect a litter takes on a mother after a few litters.

Just to add.
250gs is about 4-5 months.
My Petco rats will be up to weight in a few weeks, gaining any where from 15-20 grams a week normaly. They are great growers!:D

Thank you, this was helpfull... what i meant by "in time" is... will their adult wait in fact reach more than 250 grams in all or most cases....

They can reach up to 400+ Grams.
