What might I expect?
I've got myself a little Amel corn, offspring of a normal male to a snow female. I am not sure what produced the parents, but I know that the siblings in the clutch that mine was out of were Snows, Anerys, Amels, Normals, and now I am told striped amels (mine has a zigzag for about half of it's body length). What can I expect if I were to breed my little girl with we'll say a w/c normal (hypothetical, just wondering what the unaltered genetics would give)? HOpe I wasn't too confusing :P thanks! :cool:

normals or amels. in order to get snows or anerys, you'd have to breed it to a snake with the same hets.

Well you "could" produce something new ;).You would not know for sure until you bred them and then a offspring back to the parents though :D.

If there were stripes from normal patterned snakes, then they were both het stripe. That means that yours is an amel het anery 66% het stripe. If you bred it to a w/c normal w/no hets, then you'd get normals het amel and 50% het anery.

So if I picked up a normal 66% het snow, I could expect SOME snows?
Sorry, I'm not genetics-savy. Maybe a little bit of a lesson would be sweet? :D

You'd have a 66% chance that your snake has the genes to produce snows
