    im having an issue keeping humidity up in glass tank..so i was wondering would a himidifier in the room help keep this up?

    The would probably work but it would make the entire room miserable for YOU! :)
    I have a couple of babies in tanks. I covered the mesh tops with aluminum duct tape, leaving open room for lighting and a small area on the cool side for gradient temps....it works great and hold humidity pretty well - about 48% misting once a day

    Hi,

    Just to say a layer of tinfoil (shiny side down) under the tape prevents any sticky problems later on. :gj:

    It goes without saying all this should be on the outside (top)
    of the lid not the inside (bottom).
