    Tank set-up and cleaning
    Hi!
I've got a couple of questions about setting up the tank.
My friend who bought a corn snake (sadly he's already dead :tears:) is going to sell me his tank. an Exo-terra 20gal with a hide and a water bowl. Since his snake died for I dont know which reason I wanted to make sure there isnt any parasites or mites in the tank. I have some "Safer's End All" which kills mites arachnid name it it kills it.
First is it safe to use it if I disinfect and clean the tank afterward?
Also I bought a demonstrator vine (it's quite porous and is kinda made out of tissue) but it was never used inside of a cage with a live reptile, can I wash that with a mix water/bleach?
I'm getting everything setup for him, I'm going to pick him up in 9 days, I just can't wait.:D
P.S : what do you guys think about Taz as a name for a male pastel? :taz:

I think it'll be safe to use the tank after you clean it up thoroughly. Personally I don't think mites would have killed a corn snake, but if he had mites they could have contributed on an existing problem.

    Taz... Perfect! :gj:
