incubator

if i didnt want to make my own and purchase a small one instead would this be a good one to get?

what would you suggest using?

ouch, perhaps scratch that! search engine here shows they are notorious for frying eggs and thats no good!!!

we are looking at the natures spirit reptile incubators. anyone like theirs?

I know many people who use thoughs bators, and have had no problems at all! 6 out of the 8 snakes I own were born from one. It would be cheaper to just make your own from a cooler!:D

see i would rather put out the money and know its done right than rely on my handiwork (or lack there of) your animals were born from the first incubator i listed on here?

Yes, as far as I know they were, good old hovabators..lol.

If you do get a Hova, get one with the fan on the inside, to curculate air.

Yeah, I had an egg-frying incident with a Hova. Granted, I read afterward that their thermostat is not that good and should be backed-up with a better one.. but still I like having something with Flexwatt in it.

I just saw Casey's Nature Spirit Incubators at Michigan's reptile show. Very well built from the looks of it...but a tad small

Natures Spirit is a very good one to go with, or if you need a bigger one, Big Apple works as well.

I also have a Lyon, but for the price and the space, it's not worth it.

I ordered one just the same as that one 2 nights ago,hope it works out it`s my 1st.time.

I've heard of far more horror stories with hovabators than success stories (remember that they were designed for hatching chicken eggs, not reptile eggs). I considered getting a Nature's Spirit incubator or even making my own before Justin Kobylka offered me one if his that he'd outgrown, but was perfect for me!

Christie (tigerlily) has a Nature's Spirit incubator and loves it!
