    Got my new leo today
I got my LEO today and he is a cutie, I noticed a weird bump on the side of him though, behind his leg [actually i'm not sure if its a boy or girl so i'll stop calling it he] I do work at PetSmart so I asked my co-worker if that was ok and she said it's fine and it was already at a vet, and nothing serious can come from it.. What do you guys think of that? oh well heres some pics

He's a cutie! :) If you post pics of the cloacal area I can tell you if it is a boy or girl. Also--what's up with the bump? Where is it exactly and can you post pics of it? I'd be worried to know exactly what it was and more details about what the vet said about it.

What substrate is that you are using? Generally it is best not to use loose substrate with leos as they can accidentally ingest it. I'd recommend papertowels, newspaper or ceramic tile.

It could be a lot of things. I'd take him to your own herp vet and have it checked out.

BTW, if that is corncob bedding you are using you should replace it ASAP because when ingested it swells up in the reptile's belly and can cause impaction issues.

It's some sort of millet, safe to eat and is easily digested
