How do I know that it's spring?
It has nothing to do with that silly groundhog, but rather:

    1. There is a light dusting of pollen on my car.
    2. It is no longer pitch black out when I leave work at night.
    3. The garage/rat room no longer has to be heated during the day

    And most importantly,

    4. The female cresteds that were paired up late in the season and stopped laying for the winter have started laying again! :D:banana::P

I love living in the south where the spring comes early!

Well, you have a crested (cresteds?). Get to work and you can find out about the egg part! Oh yeah, but that probably still wouldn't happen for another few months since spring there only comes after 6 months of cold, dark winter... :D

I love the south too! That whole month of winter is miserable. *shudder* Of course that means it's only a short time before we're miserable from the oppressive heat of summer.

I would much rather be too hot than too cold. I can deal with the insane summer and humidity and whatever else, but I cannot deal with COLD!

    Lucky!!

Spring is a long way off for me. I am thinking more like April for us:( Although looking outside, with 3 feet of snow EVERYWHERE we may not see spring until August lol.
