    First feed.... Success!
I fed my BP for the first time tonight, and everything went off without a hitch. His tub has a hole in the lid covered with hardware cloth, so I set the box from the rat on top of the hole. Within 15 seconds, he was poking his head out, flicking his tongue.

Once I put in the rat, I bet it was less than 30 seconds before he struck. The kill went pretty quickly, and he ate it without issue. I was surprised, as he killed and downed the rat quicker than the other BP does with a mouse.

Anyway, I'm relieved and very happy that he was so eager to eat six days after being shipped. All the temps and humidity have been correct, but I guess that was just a reinforcement that he's happy with everything in the tub :)

Congrats! I remember feeding Auryn for the first time and being so relieved that he had a good feeding response! I wish he would find that response again, though.
