Amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing! I got my Rosy Boa!!

In an odd turn of events, I got a call from a friend today, who works as a groomer at a pet store chain, offering me a surrendered Rosy Boa that "won't eat." He is now home with us!! This may or may not be the original one I hoped for in:

The friend who called me is NOT the woman who originally offered me the Rosy before.

Here is our new beauty. That's our 6 yr old holding him. Not a great picture, but it'll do for now.

I tried to feed him a live pink mouse. Nope. Now I'll do what I guess I should have done and wait a week or so.

Just one pic? Glad you got him. Once he settles in , he'll probably eat fine for you. I have gotten a lot of rescued reptiles that "wouldn't eat". Usually it was do to poor husbandry practices.

Thanks, guys! I can't wait to post more pictures. We took more than one, but most of them were terrible b/c he wouldn't sit still! We have his husbandry already ironed out it seems, just one detail - need belly heat and the local pet store was out of UTH's! Tomorrow, we'll find one. But his temps are great.

aww he's a cutie.. congrats on getting your rosy boa. now let him settle in and then we def need more pics. :D

recently aquired a "breeding" pair for my BF...he adores them

they're growing on me....they're so calm and just about as nosey as I am....so far, we get along great....lol...they're cute too!

Thanks! He is a cutie and a sweetie. And I actually feel like we can hold at four snakes... at least until the ball or jungle carpet grow to over 5'. :D Then we can reevalutate.:8:
