terrarium cleaning..What do you do with your snake?
I'm a new BP owner and it's going to be time in 2 weeks to do a thurough cage clean out. Where do you put your snake while you clean everything. I have a plastic container with a lid and air vents for transport I can use while I'm cleaning, but I'm worried that his body temp will get too low. Any suggestions??

I would recommend a small tub and UTH, stick on ones are relatively inexpensive.
That's why tubs rule, you just swap them out with an extra, fast, cheap.

I use a tub with a secure vented lid.
My room temp is 72-74, so in an hour or so of cleaning I can't imagine that's going to be too much of a temperature issue.
My ball hates hanging around my neck...I wish he would be happy there but that's life

I have mine either in their feeding tubs(the BPs) and clean as they eat, or in the case of the corns either my BF holds them for me or they go into their holding/travel boxes with a human heat pad on low under one half...at least during winter. :)

If someone is around to hold him, I do that...otherwise I put him in a tub with a human heat pad underneath on low with newspaper in the bottom of the tub and cover the sides because the cat seems to think my bp is kitty television whenever it's "clean the enclosure" time.

Definately around my neck. My BP loves to be around my neck. He is only about 18in long but its just enough for him to be comfortable.
