    Supplemental Light Question
Just got the little guy home today and everything is great but I have a quick question. I got the under tank heater and a 75watt infrared supplemental heat bulb going. Was wondering if I should leave the supplemental light running 24/7 or what. The hot side of the tank has been 92.2 all day. Middle 87.4 and The cool side is between 76 and 80. I was just wondering that if I took the light away and he only has 1 hot spot to go too if that would make him sick or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you take away the heat lamp, I'd be concerned about how far down the temps would go. You say your cool side already dips as low as 76, which is already lower than ideal. 75 and below is considered unhealthy.

I don't have an UTH, but can you regulate their heat output with your t'stat? I'm sort of wondering this for my own RBI tank set-ups in the cold weather... Do you know what your nighttime temps are? 76 is too chilly for your snake; 80-82 is nice! How's your humidity with the supplemental running all the time?
