    Nice Find
I have been looking for unprinted newpaper to house my ball pythons on. I tried normal newspaper, but I didn't like the fact that the ink would get on my snakes if the substrate got wet. I looked online and found a couple of places to buy it, but the shipping was expensive. So, this afternoon I went to Home Depot. I found unprinted newspaper that they sell to wrap breakables in while moving. The paper is unprinted and the sheets are 24" x 36" with 165 sheets in a 10lb. box for $9.

thanks for the info! I'm gonna have to check that out.

Also, some stores that sell breakable items will wrap glass in unprinted newspaper when you check out.

Go to your local UHAUL moving company. 10 pound boxes for $8.88.

Or you can go to your local office depot. They have 900 foot rolls of the brown kraft paper that a lot of people use. She gets her from uline.com but KLG (kara) of NERD uses the brown kraft paper. Its 31 bucks at office depot. But its 900 friggin feet of the stuff!!!

    Hope this helps.

Check out your local newspapers. They can sometimes give away free unprinted roll ends. It's typically good quality and clean.

Here in Ottawa, I go to the local paper once in a while and am able to get roll ends without a problem and free of charge. They're usually thrilled to have it off their hands. They have a max of 3 rolls per person and, since I only have one bp for now, those 3 last an eternity.

Hope this helps.... I know that saving a bit of cash on the substrate helps me put that much more towards new snakes or enclosures.
