    Anyone else's lizard do this?
I apologize for the shoddy camera work here, I was on the phone with my brother while I did this. But Dana is so funny! She knows that the Kricket Keeper tube dispenses crickets and gets so excited that she focuses completely on the tube and not on the crickets! Eventually, when the tube escapes, she thinks to check the dish. But till then, its all about the tube!

Thank you! She's such a cutie, and so different from a snake... very hyper-vigilant! A friend said her beardie does this same thing, going nuts for the source of crickets, lol. I was so worried that bugs and lamps would be a hassle, but it's really not. :) We're lovin the lizard mom thing! *snuggles a Dana!*

Hehe, my beardie has learned to recognize the cricket keeper tube as a source of food as well. He isn't as adamant about it as your baby, but I have had him catch a cricket as it fell out of the end of the tube in mid air before!

What exactly are these cricket keeper tubes? I've never heard of them... If it means that you don't have to touch or deal with crickets personally while feeding I might actually be considering a lizard again!

Haha! One of my beardies knows as soon as I walk in the room with that tube... he starts getting all excited. Then when I open his enclosure he attacks the tube with his tongue trying to eat them before they even get a chance to come out of the tube, its hilarious! Hes such a pig anyway, he eats and eats and eats. I have a sapphire stone ring that he also thinks is food. He always tries to eat it, I think he thinks its a blueberry-he loves em! I don't think that guy ever gets full, he cracks me up! :rolleye2:

Gir- The tubes come with a Kricket Keeper which you can get at most pet stores. :) It's a place to keep live crickets, and the tubes are angled down into it. They naturally climb up into them to hide, then you just pull out the tube, cap it with a cap of calcium, shake it up and voila! Shake & Bake Crickets! :gj:

Hehe, Dana does that too Jolyn! She gets all excited just at the sight of the tube, all hyper and puppy like  It's so adorable!

We had a cricket keeper and never got a tube thing... Maybe Adam just lost it or something... But after trying to manage them without one I swore I'd never get anything that required touching bugs again!!! Thanks :D
