Dennis!

I found this cat on the Humane Societys website on Thursday and went and got him that same day..

His name is Dennis, and hes 9 years old.. he was part of their prime time pets program since its harder for them to place cats over 5 years old.

Hes really nice, he likes to get brushed and he talks a lot, and he covers his face with his paws when he sleeps!

What a handsome face! And kudos to you for adopting an older kitty!

I think i'd like to adopt an older cat too...hopefully soon :)

Thanks, he reminds me of a lion! I have another maine coon mix like him and my other cats get confused on which one is Dennis and which one is Leah.

I like having an older cat, he just likes to hangout with people, look at what the rats are doing, and sleep all day.. he deserves a nice place to lounge around.

I wouldn't be able to live with 2 cats! I have 5 now (all rescues too) and I have to stop.. no more new cats unless I move out and get a bigger place where I can take in more rescues, or foster out some cats for a cat rescue.

I'm never going to get married! I'm already a crazy cat lady at 19.
