What do I have?

I purchased some feeders a while back and received a little gray mouse in with the albino feeders. He had big eyes that bulged out a bit and I knew he couldn't be a domestic mouse so I set him aside and fed the others off. I took some pics and posted them up asking what he was. The majority of people who answered said he was a wild mouse and for the time being I was satisfied with that answer.

We have kept him and named him McSqueakin. I've seen pictures of ASFs and he reminds me so much of them and he has a longer face than my other mice. So I'm going to post a picture of him as he was when I got him and I'll post a picture of him tomorrow morning as he is now and see what you all think.

Just because I said it was cute, doesnt mean that I would keep it or feed it to one of my snakes. I dont keep mice-and if I even had a stray thought that an animal could have just been caught or sick then I couldent feed it to my snakes- or buy from the place again. But just because that mouse looks differnt form the others, doesnt mean that theres anyhting wrong with it. Not all mice that are healthy are while- there are fancy mice and solid colored mice too, just like rats. I dont think it looks unhealthy.

He is definatly healthy. Eats like a pig and has reached a weight of 33g now. I'll get pictures of him now and post them up. We are not using him as a feeder or a breeder. He is just a pet.

I just googled deer mouse, and it sure looks like one.

Mmk. Glad that got cleared up. He's just a fat mouse. hehe. We love him though.
