    I'm pleased that the eye caps came off in one piece. It's taking him forever though. Or maybe it's like watching the kettle boil?

    cool..i was able to catch my corn shedding..took pics ..its interesting to watch the process and amzed me at how wet or soft the skin is fresh off the snake and how quick it dried out

    1) The humidity at the time I took the pictures was about 73% it just looks dry. Trust me I'm paranoid with the husbandry.

    2) I can only feed it what it will eat. Currently he takes a small fuzzy mouse every 3-5 days. I'm hoping he'll start taking a small rat pup instead, but thus far he's rejected the notion.

    Here's a couple of pictures after he was done. I'm not sure why he looks so scrawny in the first two pics, but he's not.

    Most of the shed came off in one piece, but there were a few spots that didn't. At present he is completely clean of old skin.
