Mice Galore!

We have 12 BP's....five of which we got just today during a rescue...

I gave my boyfriend 40 bucks and said "get whatever mice you can with this"....intending on getting them their first couple of meals....

So, I wait and wait...the pet store is only down the street....wait some more...

FINALLY he comes home......

with 100 of 'em!! :O OMG, what the heck am I going to do with all these mice?.....I breed ASF cuz they don't stink...mice STINK....*shudders*

apparently he met a guy in the pet store who was trying to get rid of them but the pet store would only take 25 of what he had...

after I picked my jaw up off the floor, he says proud as a pecock "AND i still have 3 dollars left" :rolleye2:

still in awe, I say "what, you had a coupon???"

Lets hope my slither pals are really....REALLY...hungry :rolleyes:

I think this is the point where my face started turning purple! Isn't it funny when men get into that proud as a peacock mode!

Maybe it'll be funny tomorrow.....I did say "wow, you did so good!" while at the same time telling myself "you just HAD to send him to the pet store" ;)

Haha.... sounds like something I'd do.

I bet your snakes will tear through those mice pretty quickly, especially if you have one or more of those bottomless pits that will eat 5 or 6 mice in a setting.

....i think i'll need another freezer...as it is, I won't let my company in my freezer for ice...the entire bottom shelf is full of frozen goodies...and I would personally like to thank the inventor of solid colored freezer bags...:D

Oh that is just too funny! Darn things will breed though, so watch you don't end up with even more meeces! I'm still cracking up over the "look I still have $3 left" bit HAHAHAHAHAHA

One good thing about storing prey in the freezer is that it puts a stop to your teenage son and his buddies doing the late night raid the freezer and eat everything in sight routine. :D
