    Another interesting thing I saw on CNBC's finance channel. One stock holder who owns 6% or 79.66 million shares, made over 500 million dollars today or half a billion.

    Yeah, Yahoo's stock shot up like 46% overnight. Anyone who bought enough Yahoo stock this week just made a lot of money.

    Yea, I'm kind of mad I didn't. I was thinking about it but decided on something else and BAM. 44.6 billion dollar offer :(

    I also heard that they are offering 60% over current market price for shares. Sounds like a hostile takeover to me.

    It pretty much is. They are offering a 50/50 cash to stock split. Microsoft can do what it want when it wants when its throwing around 45 billion dollars.
