Time frame between pre-ovulation shed and ovulation?

Just wondering, is there a specific number of days between pre ovulation shed and ovulation? I didn't find much information on pre ovulation shed, is there such a shed that marks a certain point in breeding, or are all sheds before ovulation just sheds that have nothing to do with the breeding itself?

2 of my females have just shed their skin but I haven't seen any ovulations yet. Should I expect anything to happen with these two? One is feeding and the other is not. I began cooling the nights in november and gave these girls a male in december. I've not seen locks, only a few attempts within the past few days.

I guess I'm a little early asking this, but it never hurts to ask. :)
