    my first mouse litter!!
Tonight was our lalacheleague (breastfeeding support) meeting and when we got home a friend of mine (we always go together) said, mommy mouse, have your babies so i can see! Within 5 minutes i checked the bin and sure enough there were little pinks we could see through the bin, how fitting!

I just snapped these real quick while mommy was out of the nest and then we closed her bin and left her alone

how big are mice litters typically? what are the chances of her having larger litters later on? I counted 9 but didnt touch them so i dont know if their are any hiding in there.

Litter Size: Litter size is quite variable; 7-12 pups per litter is considered average but more is not unusual (20 in a litter is quite possible).

i suppose she didnt do bad then :) especially considering its her first litter.

    Average is 6 to 12

9 for a first timer is not bad at all.

    I average 13 to 17 ;)

    Congrats :gj:
