    Pick My Brain..
:D Hey everyone. I am new as is obvious by my join date. Learning lots here on BPs, getting some in a few months.

Just wanted to extend a hand to anybody out there having issues with dog training and behavior, or feline/ferret/dog nutrition.

My website is a work in progress so pardon the dust all over the place, it is very rough. I have been a dog trainer for many years and I specialize in behavior modification for fearful, anxious, nervous, dominant and/or aggressive dogs. I have also studied canine nutrition and if I can't answer a question I have excellent resources that can.

Since you all are helping me with BPs I figured I'd offer to help with things I already know about :D

Great post! Awesome thing for you to offer. :gj:

My Jack Russell is, of course, the PERFECT dog....although he does lick everything...and I mean everything! Excessive kisses/licks. I shouldn't complain cuz personally, I like that he's so lovable.....but when company comes, it's a little embarassing to have your dog licking their face, arms, shoes or anything else he can get his mouth on...lol

Thanks Reed, I have an album on photobucket. I don't post too many pictures these days of my dogs. My American Bulldog stud, Cajun, (pictured below) was stolen from me in September and since then I try to keep a low profile until I move. The other dog is half mine, a pup that was born and raised wild until I rescued him at almost 13 weeks of age. His name is Duke, he is half Doberman, half German shepherd. Currently 10 months old and almost fully rehabbed from his extreme fear of humans (when I rescued him I had to catch him with a long fish net and culd only handle him with leather welding gloves) and is in training as a service and competition obedience level house dog.

I have an Oriental Shorthair cat named Loki and two ferrets (a black roan mitt and a chocolate point blaze) named Wolf and Dante. I have random other critters hanging around, I take care of 5 dogs total, I do foster and rescue work for "hopeless cases" and I am getting two working line American Bulldog pups within the next 14 months to start my program over again.

OhBalls.. heh I love JRTs :D JRTs/Parsons and Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the only small dogs I would ever own as they have real working ability.

P.S. Anyone is welcome to E-Mail, PM, or Post here if they have any questions for me :)

Dog theft is pretty common around here, especially dog breeds that fetch some good money. (Pitts, rotts, german sheperds etc)

I'm sorry to hear that happend to you, I hope that someday you two can be reunited. He was a great looking dog!

That's sad; dog theft upsets me. My husband (before we got together) had an awesome English bulldog that got dognapped; they entered his house and took just the dog when he was out, so it was someone he knew I guess. Low-lives :(
Are you knowledgible about equine behavior? (I am thinking you would be) I have some issues that I will post about soon!

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the replies. Yes the people that took him are scum IMO. I don't know who it is and got a tip recently from someone that sighted him but the police are running me in circles. Long story :(

Thanks for the PMs and the E-mails! If anyone has any further questions feel free to ask. If I can't answer I will refer you to numerous people that can :)

Ginevive, I consider myself fairly knowledgable on equines, no expert but I have successfully retrained several horses and worked with BLM mustangs. You are free to pick my brain about horses if you would like! :)
