...Also, not to kill your post, but do you know what your doing with it, care, husbandry, maintenance, and safety wise?

She is our first rock python,but we do have experience in alrge constrictors, Weve kept burms in the past and we currently have a 15ft female albino burm.I have done research onto rocks though.

I'll give you some heads up on them..

I know you've owned giant constrictors before, as you stated, but African Rocks are a whole nother ball game. They are the least trustworthy snake...not that you should trust any to begin with. They can go from the snake you love, and most docile you've seen; to the snake you regret ever picking up...all in the blink of an eye. It's not that they're outwardly aggressive, but they are very moody, and can get irritated by your presence very quickly. Also, their feeding response is one to note. You may open the cage and nudge it with the hook, with little response, expecting aggression...if this happens, do not reach in for the snake! Period!. It may be in hunting mode. This is how they hunt in the wild, and may result in you being grabbed. They hunt differently than any other giant. Instead of lying by a bush, or tree, they find a water hole, or trench, and hunt similair to a crocodilian. When an animal comes to drink, they get nailed. Expect the same in a dry enclosure, or from the water dish. These have to be the strongest Python I've seen, or kept, so be weary of their strength, as well as intelligence. Their speed is out of this world, as well. I've actually had a large female dart out of her cage, get up, and look me in the face before (I'm 5' 6"), all before I could even try to restrain her. Also, be forewarned on their weird strikes. They have a habit of side swiping, as well as vertical striking. Its actually amazing to see them throw a vertical strike.

Just keep safe, and enjoy your new pet :D They are my most favorite species, and an absolute joy to keep!

Anytime! I just hate seeing people get hurt, keeping them. All it does is add to an undeserved reputation. Once again, that is one incredibly gorgeous AfRock! I might have to come to you in the future and get her on loan for breeding :P

She's a normal sebae. Most darken up a bit as they age, and they gain more salt and pepper look to their sides, and belly. She is beautiful though! If she holds that color, you definitely have a valuable breeder on your hands!
