    Hi all,

I am new to this forum and and I was just wondering if its possible for snakes - ball pythons in particular - to catch cold/flu or other respiratory problems from humans?

I think it may take a little bit broader explanation. If you mean that an ailment that is bothering you will be transferred to your snake? NO. If you've recently handled some other reptile and didnt wash your hands before handling your snake, yes it is very likely.

    Look up the word Zoonoses.
