    Viper Gecko question
Last week our female viper gecko (1 year old) died after having what looked like 4 "seizures" over several days. I read that these are called "shiver and cramp" and that is exactly what it looked like. Each time she bolted, hit the tank wall, and flipped, then froze as if playing dead. The only thing these events had in common was routine movement around the tank (e.g., feeding). The first three I was able to warm her in my hand and she revived; on the last one, she died. Does anyone have any experience with this? What did you do? Is there any way to make sure this doesn't happen to our other gecko? We were very distressed to lose her and I'd hate for it to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
