    They are some seriously fun snakes. im LOVIN that Female Applegate ( first shot) Gopher though! Shes absolutely stunning!

    Robin, it is because gophers, bulls, and pines are from the Pituophis genus. Kinda like people calling GTP's "chondros".

    Kevin, that is a very impressive collection. I have often thought about venturing into more colubrids and pits are a great choice. I used to have some albino Applegate SD gophers.

    The whole genus is Called Pituophis. Bulls Pines and Gophers :)

    That is a nice group you have there as well. I have to give credit to my Dad as these are his snakes. My interest is mainly in pythons and boas, but if he ever decides to get rid of his pits I will find the room for them at my place because they are beautiful and interesting snakes.
