Wallets and their tendancy to disappear.
I am known for being absent minded. So I have no idea exactly how long it's been missing. I had it this afternoon when I went out and got some groceries, after that... anyone's guess. I've got myself wondering now if I left it there. I called to see if someone had turned it in to customer service but the guy said there had been no wallets turned in. :(
I have searched my car up and down, and my apartment. I'm half tempted to drive the half hour back to work to see if it's there. I checked my bank account online and nothing has been used that I didn't use.
My military ID is in there, my debit card, my other cards. :( If it's not one thing it's another.

Yeah I have a friend who lost his wallet and it showed up in the mail, with his $100 cash he had in it. Hopefully the same happens to you!

FOUND IT!!!!!! I called QFC last night about midnight to see if it was there (I get off work late) and the kid said it wasn't. However I didn't like his tone so I figured he didn't actually check. This morning I called again and it was there!!!!!!! I quickly flew over to pick it up, checked through it, everything is accounted for. The cashier at the register I was at turned it in evidently because I left it on the counter like the brainless wonder I am.

    The relief is great.

Yeah, been there done that. I lost my credit card at Kroger once. Went back in ten minutes later and someone had already turned it in. Seriously, most people are pretty honest... they don't want someone to take their card and use it, either :)

You know what the most helpless feeling in the world is? Shutting the door to your car and standing there realizing it's running... and it's locked with the keys still in it!
