    Getting a fridge..
The husband and I went to a local indoor super flea-market (we laughingly refer to it as the "dirt mall"..) Well, there's a man there who sells secondhand fridges. I found the perfect incubator.. it is a small fridge (I think 5.5 cubic feet..) and as a nonworking fridge, he is selling it to us for the reasonable price of $10.
I have a few questions though. How many feet of Flexwatt is needed to heat this? I have 3 feet of 12-inch now.. that might be enough; it would cover the back from top to bottom. The fridge has nice shelving that I can use. I plan on putting in water-filled soda bottles in the open spaces too. Best thing though, it has a see-through glass door. It is black smoked glass.
Now the agonizing week until Sunday when we can pick it up! (It would not fit in my Jeep Wrangler with the junk we already had in there.)

I used one about that size before and heated it with 1ft of 11" flexwatt. Make sure you use a small fan for consistant temps. The only drawback I found was the size of the unit. I used 6 qt tubs and was only able to get 3 clutches in it.
