    Breeding Questions??
I've read a ton on breeding, but would to hear some real time feedback from people that might have some knowledge on the subject ...

Whose enclosure does the breeding take place in, male or female's?

What is the possibility of breed trio, 1.2 or 2.1 (non-carnivorous species of course)?

Length of time to keep breeders together?

    Stess of breeding?

Some of these questions I have seen answers to in various places, but thought that taking a cross section of the informed may give me a little better outlook on the subject.

    Re: Breeding Questions??
Hi and :welcome: to the forum!

I am in my first year breeding ball pythons, but I do 3 days in the female's enclosure, and four days in their own enclosures to rest. I offer food on the first resting day.

I have done 1.2 before to try to stimulate a male to breed a female he's not showed interest in before. I haven't done 2.1, because of concern that the defeated male be defeated enough that he may not breed the rest of the season.

Breeding is stressful on the males in particular, as well as being gravid is stressful on the female. It's good to take good notes and be particularly attentive to the animals you're breeding so you can take care of any issues quickly (respiratory infections, for example).
