Just a cute story and an update
    Hey all-

Just a cute story I thought I'd share.

First off after reading some posts I realized for the age of Spot, I was underfeeding him. Well I quickly grew some rats to the 2 1/2 week stage, culled them and fed one to Spot. It's amazing the difference him him. I've feed only one and he already looks better than he did before. I mean he looked great before, but not to the weight most said there 6 month olds were. So I am happy he looks great.

I don't have a scale so I can't get a weight, but he looks fat and happy.

    So on to my story.

I had fed him on Tuesday and he took the time to digest. He mosied on out of his hide, took a big long drink, flicked his tounge at me and began to go to the cool side to thermoregulate. His been on the cool side since then. I thought it was cute.

    :D

Great story and I'm glad your feeding more to get the snake up to weight. But, how do you know what that weight is without a scale? Gram scales can be picked up at a lot of places, I got mine from Rich at RBI (http://www.reptilebasics.com/My-Weig...l-p-16191.html)
for 39.00 dollars. Once you get one, you'll be able to track feeding and weight gain! Good luck and I can't wait to hear the how much your beauty weighs!!

LOL, I don't know his weight. He looks more meaty-er. I do plan on getting a scale in the near future though and I'll keep it in mind where you got yours.

    Thanks for the link.

Got my scale from walmart for about $15.00, just a postal scale but works great...can weigh in oz, grams or pounds.
