    Type of tub plastic?
I was curious if there is a certain type of plastic I should be using with a tub. I'm soon going to purchase a baby Leopard Gecko and I'm putting her in a tub. I will attach a UTH to the bottom of it.

All of the smaller tubs (16ish QT) at Target seem to be made out of pretty soft plastic... The ones I looked at are all Sterilite. Will the UTH melt and warp this softer plastic or should it be fine at the UTH's temps?

    Thank you!

Any of the plastic tubs you can buy will not melt at the temps of an UTH.. provided it has a thermostat on it (if the plastic is melting, it's too hot for your snake)

Alright. Thank you for the info! I will have it on a rheostat.
