    Baby Rexes; cuteness overload
Here are a few pics of some of my Rex crawlers! These babies are not going anywhere.. future breeders they be. ;)

Is this food, or your ear?

Aww, cute babies Jen. I never really got into the whole 'rex' thing. I had some, I even had a double rex (homely creature) but my heart belongs to the normal coats. :)

Thanks :) I like both normal-coats and rexes. I had a few double rexes and always felt like they must be chilly :)
I actually want to go for some more normal-coated PEWs. The PEW females that I have are stellar breeders and producers.. the mother of these babies is a PEW. I am raising up a few now, with some hoodeds..
Edit: I meant, the mothers of these babies, are PEW. The rexes are from a different litter than the normals in the last pic; rexes are a tad older.

That's sooo cute. I like "normals" best. The tan one you have, what is that called? I got a tan one like that from a black hood x birkshire breeding. Dunno where it came from though. Maybe the stork got his drop offs confused. LOL!

I always refer to them as "honey" colored. I think that the technical name might be beige. I don't know how she came out of a PEW dam and a gray rex sire! Somehow.. lol

Does she have dark red colored, eyes, ruby, I think the term is. Mine has dark colored eyes, not black, but reddish. I'll have to get a pic of him tonight.

Most beige rats will have those ruby eyes, not red or pink, but that lovely dark ruby color.

I can't tell yet with the Beige; she hasn't opened her eyes yet. But I will keep you posted!
