not serious but questionable
ok i don't know what happened but my bp had a shed and two days later his eyes clouded up. this was a month ago. his eyes literally looked like they were chewed on. he is in a tank by himself and is fed prekilled but i can't for the life of me figure out what this is. i didn't have any pics. but he shed again a few days ago and when his eyecaps came off his eyes looked fine. some one clue me in here could it be a fungus? has any one heard of this before? or is my bp playing tricks on me? he could not see at all and actually ate alot more than usual. clue me in here
Re: not serious but questionable
How are your humidity levels? I know if they get too dry, their eyes can look "wrinkled" or "cracked". I dunno if that's the same thing you're trying to describe or not. I'd've boogied off to the vet with him if it were mine. But if he seems fine now that he's shed... :confuzd: I guess just watch and see if it happens again.
Re: not serious but questionable
i have boosted my humidity and gave him a couple of soaks a day and they weren'y cracked or wrinkled they looked like an area had been ripped off his eyes look a little distorted now but he can see again
Re: not serious but questionable
also i have to wait for my moms company to cut out my check for year end filing and tthen i'll take him to the vet again have him looked over and have a parasite test done
