    alot of questions, and requests...
Ok, im meeting up with my local breeder who I work with on a regular basis, he has an 07 female spider that hes bringing to show us tonight..its his last one but he knows we want a spider from 07 so we can start breeding sooner than next next year because of having an 08 baby.. we still have intentions of getting an 8-ball spider in april but at least this way we can get one now too :) more spiders bred to pastel hazard better chances of bees as you can imagine.. onto my requests and questions..

who here actually likes highwhite spiders? (i havnt seen enough of both to have an opinion)

who here actually likes spotless (meaning no spots in pattern) spiders?

can everyone who has photos of their spider both adult and baby-juvinile please post it so i can see the different variations.

I plan to take my camera with me tonight so i can take photos and think about what i want for sure with the ability to still see the what the animal looks like before making our choice. he has agreed to let us make a deposit on the animal so he will hold it for us...

for those of you who have done payment plans, how did you do it so you know the person youve given your money to wont rip you off and say you gave them nothing besides a written reciept of course. I do plan on giving him any/all money by way of check so i have proof, im not afraid of him ripping us off but i want to cover our butts too.. its no different than i would do with anyone else, even family.

    TIA!

I don't have any spiders, so can't post pics of them. But...I do like a nice high-white spider...and I love the reduced pattern ones with little-to-no spots. That's just my personal preference.

As for the payment plans...Using checks is a good way to start because then your bank will be able to hold onto that proof for you should you need it in the future. Make a note on the "note" line that it's a payment for a specific snake and what the balance owed still is as of that check. On the last check, mark on the note line "paid in full". AND AND AND make sure you get a signed receipt for all monies that change hands.

Even if someone isn't out to rip anyone off, misunderstandings CAN occur where one party feels they have paid X amount and the other party thinks it is different. The steps listed above, as well as a pre-written "contract" that states exactly how much money is to be spent and over how much time, will help prevent that.

    Good luck with it!

Pick what YOU like, just don’t pick a spider just to pick one or have a head start, pick one that “speaks” to you, and that you will know when you see it.

thanks JLC, those are some good ideas.. i will definetly talk to him about that tonight.

Deborah, thank you for your input! Even if I dont take the female he has tonight Im going to get one eventually so im not really in any hurry, i am however very excited to have one finally. I never thought I would ever be able to afford any kind of morph let alone a pastel AND a spider. we have been thinking about what other morphs we want to add to our collection when we order and receive our rack. Your spider is absolutly beautiful! (not to mentain your photos are PERFECT & FLAWLESS) I never really liked high white before and the more i look around the more im liking what i see :D

I don't mind high white spiders as long as they are also reduced and have a ton of orange, but I'm most concerned about them having reduced patterns and not having many or any spots. That's just me. I just posted a couple of new pics of my low-white spider here: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...threadid=59277 and here he is as a youngster:

I was going to say the same thing to Ed - your is spotless (aka, reduced pattern).

I love reduced pattern spiders (like that's a big surprise to anyone!:P) and I prefer low white.

Depends on what you consider spots. I love spiders with patterns so mine is perfect for me I first though that I got a Pinstripe by mistake cause of his huge neck stripe.

Best of luck spiders are a must have for any collection..

PS this is him like 2 weeks ago
