    need some HELP !
    hey all,
i come to you all for some help and advice. today i checked on everyone, cleaning poop & refilling water bowls. held the little ones for about 5-10minutes. when i picked up CoCo, i notice something not alarming at the time, seem to be the aspen between her scales.

so i used a twizer to pull it off, but as i did that i noticed it wasnt aspen bedding. it was her scales, i didnt pull it off once i seen it was stuck. i left it alone and jus examined it closer, using a flash light to really see what happen of what it was...

in her tub, she has apsen bedding, a coconut hut, and a water bowl. i took everything out and put down paper towl with just the water bowl. i fed her 2-3days ago and she ate 2 small mice. she ate n swallowed them fine, i didnt notice anything, i really didnt check like that, after they all swallowed their food i went to work.
after i put down the paper towel, i held her still so i can put neosporin on the cut.

im looking for advice of what could have happened ... any advice on what to do for the cut ? could it be a bite from a mouse ? bedding can cause it ?

    thanks

to me looks like a mouse did it, i couldnt see aspen doing that, unless it was tornado velocity winds ;). I wouldnt put neosporin on it, becuase it is medicated, at least thats what people tell me!

Pretty little snake! Hate to see any sort of injury. :(

I can't imagine the aspen having caused it...but... :confuzd: It may be a mouse bite. Keep the snake on paper until it heals...and neosporin is good, just make sure it doesn't have any pain-reliever in it. It'll probably heal up fine...but a trip to the vet wouldn't be amiss if you are concerned about it getting any worse.

Is it possible that maybe it was caused from the holes that were cut into her tub and/or hide or anything else similar? You know, from like a sharp edge or something?

    Good luck with it!
