Well this year is the year I try my luck. I got two beautiful females last year that where 1300 and 1000g. This year one is 1500 and the other one is 2100 so I put them with big boy. Now mind you I got these two girls for "normal" price but the person I got them from said they are 50% het for albino but didnt have the paper work. My boy is 100% het for albino. I have seen Big boy lock with the larger female and let him spend 3 days with her then took him out.
At that time I was cleaning cages and decided to put one of my smaller girls in with Spot (the big girls name) for a min while I cleaned her cage. WELL I come to get her and they where LOCKED! I was sputtering, cussing, and confused. The person I got the smaller girl from assured me that all the bp's I got where girls and I had no reason not to trust them so I didn't probe them.
Well as soon as they unlocked I got the smaller one out and back into his cage, still madder than a wet hen. After a few days I put Big boy back in with Spot and they locked again. Looks like she will lock with anyone. So what are the chances of little boy being the dad of the babies (assuming I get any)?
My other girl isn't locking with big boy.
I am going to try and post a link to my pics. If you look at her you can see her (I don't know what to call it) dimpling along her back. Do you think she is ovulating or what?
