    Hey everyone i have my pastel arriving tom and im trying to get his tub ready for him but im having problems getting the heat up to the correct temp humid is great but i cant get the heat up i have a UTH under the tub about 1/4 the size of the tub but its not getting the heat i want any ideas that will help

    The UTH is too small and should be covering probably 1/3 of the cage. If I were you I would have gotten my flexwatt and heating in my rack settled first and gotten another snake afterwords.

    You just need a bigger UTH. Tubs hold heat extremely well, so just get warm side to the right temp with a thermostat and it should be fine. I have to use a secondary heater in the room since it's cold here now. Good luck!
