    Reusing Mulch (bedding)
I have heard from a few ppl that you can reuse your mulch, if it has been soaked in a bleach/water solution. Is there any truth to this? Does anyone here reuse it. They said you have soak it in the solution then let it dry out again then it would be fine. Thanks in advance..

Reuse soiled bedding? I don't think that is a good idea at all, unless you compost it and put it in your garden. (I wonder if that would keep the rabbits out of the veggie garden??)

Some breeders only spot clean their tubs, so they don't throw out clean (but used) bedding. Dave and Tracy Barker in their book talk about only spot cleaning their tubs. They take out only the soiled bedding and wipe that area clean with a disinfectant solution. If the snake never makes a huge mess, they may only wash the tub every 6 months.

Makes sense to me. In the last 6 months I have a couple that I have to wash every couple weeks, but I have a couple neat snakes that I have only had to spot clean.

Why completely clean out the tub on some schedule when it really isn't needed?

    I agree with Jen...

Toss the dirty, replace when needed.

    Never reuse..
