Leave the food in there and return in a 1/2 hour. That might help.

hognoses are some of the most picky eaters ever... this is why i only have one in my collection today. to this day he will only eat white fuzzy mice. nothing bigger, smaller, or off-colored.

fortunately they can go long periods without meals.

haha.. I guess I just have a weird one.. she'll eat ANYTHING I put infront of her, usually..

we've just been getting some weird weather lately..

it's hot, then it's cold, it's hot... then it's cold.. it's insane..

probably confuses the hell out of her.

yeah its always up and down in my experience... two years of not missing a meal, then they go on a hunger strike.
