    Humidity
I recently switched one of my snakes to a tub to try it out. (Its the same snake that I've had problems with him sitting in his water dish.) My problem is the humidity, I can't get it below 60% even with the lid off. Any suggestions? I'm using aspen as my bedding and I have a multitude of holes in the tub and in the tub lid

60 is pretty good. I bet after a day or two the humidity goes down a bit anyway. Otherwise try a smaller water dish.:gj:

If you want less humidity, you will either need to have a water bowl with less surface area, or drill/burn a few more holes in the tub.

I find it easier to make a few more holes, then wait and see where it levels out. If needed you can then add more holes, or tape over some of them (on the outside) to raise it back up.

smaller water dish(i agree) or more holes in the tub....Make a hole and check...Repeat till you get the correct humidity....make sure its properly ventilated.:gj:

Remember you can always make holes but cannot take them back...(with exception of covering it up with tape(ugly))

60 isnt really bad enough to go crazy with holes. I would try a smaller water dish. Or give it a couple days the humidity should die down a bit.
