900$ Piebald

So my male 100% het pied will be out of QT soon so I did a little shopping around to find him a girlfriend for this year since he is ready to breed. I came across a guy who has a wide variety of snakes for a really low price. He sent me picture after picture of pieds and clowns and albinos and caramel albinos. And I dont think he wanted over 1200$ for any of them. He showed me a send a picture of his pied female breeder he has and would be willing to part with for 900$ plus shipping. First of all I have never seen a pie of any size go for under 2000. So This raises some suspicion. The guy seems as legit as any other breeder I have been working with. He is able to answer all my questions without hesitation. I know not to follow things that are to good to be true, but if someone is willing to sell a 900$ visiable pied female breeder... would you chance it? I figure atleast its not bigdaddywholesale.

Sounds fishy to me. A hatchling pied goes for $2000, a lot more depending on amount of white, etc. A proven pied female would go for a lot more than that. $900 for a proven pied female sounds like a scam and I wouldn't go near it with a 100 ft stick. I'm sure he's answering questions quickly now but I bet you won't hear from him once he has your money. This definitely sounds too good to be true.

Remember that cheap isn't quality and quality isn't cheap.

You need to find out why. And if this person is legit.

Caution is key here.

....I duno about that....but HEY!...if you dont get screw, can I have his email address? :)

You know, you can email me and I can send you a butt-load of photos of the animals "I have" and will sell at a great price, and I can be polite too...its not too hard ;)

But can you send me pictures of your 500 snake facility with pictures of you cleaning and feeding snakes? I actually did some research on him and found out he has an actual buisness and does this full time. He seems more legit than people ive gotten other snakes from. I will take it slow with him and see how he reacts. I hope for the best. but 900$ isnt that big of a hit and im willing to take it.

If it is seems too good to be true...It probably is.

I asked the same thing and he said it was a low white pied. And it didnt have the ringer traits. it certainly looked like a pied.
