CHE from beanfarm?

Is this a good product for a BP in a 10g glass tank? He's got a UTH also, it just doesn't keep the temps up enough. I've never bought a ceramic heating element before though so I'm not sure what wattage? Would the 30 watt one be good, since it's just supplementary heat really?

Just a curious question, but how in the world does a 10 gallon tank with a UTH not keep proper temps?? A tank that small should hold heat and humidity perfectly. At least, it does here...:oops:

Anyway, if you really need it a 30 watt shouldn't be too overpowering for a 10gal, but you'll really want to watch humidity. Those things suck it out like no tomorrow... :)

I'm not sure. He's not in the warmest room because he's quarantined, but it's not like I don't run the heat or something. But it doesn't stay as warm in there as I'd like with just the heating pad, and I don't want to stress him with constant light. I just also didn't want to get too strong of a ceramic thingy, so I'm having to research in a hurry.

ETA: yeah, this is the same rescued bally I posted about before. He's still not eating voluntarily but he's had a tube feeding and one force-feeding from me, so far so good-ish :x

Another question about ceramic heat emitters: I've read stuff about them heating objects but not air--what's up with that? How will I know the ambient temp? Is the description at beanfarm and other places wrong or am I missing something? Would I have to get the awesome laser gun thermometer for this? I've always wanted an excuse to buy that thing.
