    BP's skin
I've noticed lately that my bp's skin has been a little more dry since around a month ago...keeping the humidity right around 50%, temps are usually 75-77 cold, 86-88 warm w/ ambient of 80...Substrate is currently reptibark....any suggestions? It doesn't look like scale rot or anything?

I would bump up the humidity to 60%, raise the cool temps to 80-84 and raise the warm temps to 90-93F. While your getting these levels raised, make sure he has a water bowl for soaking and make a humid hide for him.

I have to agree with starmom, get the temps up and the humidity might be coming into a shed.

Yeah, cool side and warm side for a while. Also, increase temps; they're a bit low. Good luck!

so I have two hides in there already (one on each side)....would u take them out and replace them w/ humid hide boxes or just add humid hides?

So, to bump up my humidity I just crumpled up 4 paper towels, got them wet, and put 2 on top of one hide and then 2 on top of the other. Bumped total humidity very well. You could put the towels in the hides, put moss in a small container in the hides; really, just get the humidity up and the temps also!!
I would *not* replace the hides with something different as this could lead to the snake getting stressed out by the change. It's all good. Try the paper twoel trick (unless you moss hanging around...haha!)
