All Right Folks... The winner is......
After looking at the poles and people responses, I went to the expo with numbers 2,3 and 5 on my mind. After looking at them for over 30 minutes, I decided on number....FIVE! After seeing him in person I just had to get em. He was one of the largest and after seeing that open head, I couldn't resist.

He was too big for my 16qt tub so I had to put him in the 10gal. And Im not too happy about that. But so far he seems okay. The hour drive probably stressed him out. And sure enough, he let me know it with a small hiss when I went to put him in his home.

Im gonna leave him alone for a few days to let him get acclimated, but he hasn't eaten since the 1/1/08 (10 days ago) He's due for a meal...

Thanks, I'll take pictures once I get batteries for my camera...and post em!
It was funny though, as soon as I bought him people at other tables were asking if he was for sale, he was a hot one.

How much does he weigh? A 16qt tub should be fine up until around 500-700gm

Oh I'm glad you got #5, that's the one I liked the most too. Really sweet looking snake, congrats! Can't wait to see the pics once he's settled in (and you buy batteries LOL).

He's not that big. Probably about 150-200, he just didn't seem comfortable in there. Buts its cool Im using a CHE and a UTH so the ambient temp and the belly heat are looking good.

A 16 qt tub is PLENTY big enough for him. If he were mine I would still have him in a vision hatchling tub.

My itty bitties are in 6qts, that 16 qt was very much big enough for him.
