Another quick question - how oftern should the substrate and tank be cleaned?? I plan on cleaning all the decor etc once a month as i have been informed this should be ok. But how regularly should i change the substrate? Is it ok just to remove the waste and then change the whole bedding once a month??
Also i have a decorative background for the back of the tank which also helps to hide the wires - i haven't attached it to the back yet as i wonder about cleaning?? Can it be wiped - its the foam based stuff that you can get from reptile shops.
The substrate i will have is aspen.
