Pieds?

Hi guys,

I think pieds have become my favorite morph and I'm trying to think of ways to get one. I've only found 1-2 ads of actual pieds (not hets) online and only females (set at $3000 :O)

Are they really that expensive? What about males?

Also, what are the chances of getting an actual pied if I get a het pied female and breed with my regular male. OR two het pieds together. I really must have one but $3000 is a bit too expensive for me.

I f you breed two hets together you will have a 25% chance on each egg to get a pied.
If you breed a male pied to het female you will have 50% chance on each egg...

If you get a het pied female and breed to your normal male, you will only get possible het for pieds, not any pieds.
It's a recessive gene. That's why they cost so much. It's a popular morph, and it's recessive, so it's not as easy to make a ton of them as it is to make co-doms like pastels.
